POLICY STATEMENT

At Connect It All we recognise the importance of protecting and respecting your data and we want you to be confident that any information we hold about you is safe. In line with general data protection regulations in place since May 2018 this document is intended to give an overview of the information we collect from you, how we use that data, the safety of the data and how you can view, amend or remove that data from our systems.

THE DATA THAT WE COLLECT

The personal data collected by us will depend on the nature of the contract or agreement in place but may include some or all the following:

  • Telephone number

  • Business address
  • Communication history
  • Date of birth
  • Billing information and data

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

  • To fulfil the requirements of any contract or agreement.
  • For the management of business relationships.
  • For analysis purposes to continually provide the highest level of customer service.
  • For promoting relevant Connect It All products/services.
  • It may be necessary, depending on the nature of the agreement or contract, to share information with 3rd parties to ensure contractual and legal obligations are met.

KEEPING YOUR DATA

The data collected by us will be kept for the duration of the contract or agreement in place and for as long as is reasonable after to ensure compliance with regulations in place at the time.

The data collected is stored on our network servers, billing platforms and customer relationship management systems.

Access rights and password protection are in place to ensure that all data is kept safe from theft, loss or destruction.

The data is only accessed and processed by trained Connect It All employees and, where relevant and necessary, 3rd parties.

DATA BREACH / COMPROMISE

Every endeavour will be made to protect personal data.

In the event of a data breach or compromise Connect It All will notify all parties affected without undue delay.

Best efforts will be made to mitigate the effect of any breach of data and to minimise any damage.

INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS

You have the following 7 key rights in relation to any personal data held:

  • Right to access – personal data can be accessed at any point by the individual to whom it relates.
  • Right to rectification – inaccurate or incomplete data can be rectified by the individual to whom it relates.
  • Right to be forgotten – the personal data held can be erased or returned at the request of the individual to whom it relates.
  • Right to restrict – data can be restricted at the request of the individual to whom it relates.
  • Right to data portability – data can be moved, copied or transferred to another environment at the request of the individual to whom it relates.
  • Right to object – individuals have an absolute right to stop their data from being used or processed in certain circumstances.
  • Rights relating to automated decision making – individuals are protected against the potential risk of being harmed by decisions made without human intervention.

To comply with regulations and legislation in place at the time, changes may periodically be made to this policy and any related policy or procedure.
