POLICY STATEMENT

It is the policy of Connect It All to minimise its impact on the environment through an effective environmental management system.

Connect It All will:

  • Strive to satisfy the requirements of all our employees, customers and interested parties in respect of environmental impact.
  • Comply with compliance obligations, codes of practice and all other requirements applicable to its activities.
  • Provide resources, trained and competent staff and any other requirements to enable these objectives to be met.
  • Ensure that all employees are made aware of their obligations in respect of this environmental policy.

SCOPE OF POLICY

This policy applies to all employees and company directors.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The policy aims to minimise the adverse impact of the company on the environment.

The main objectives of this policy are to ensure that Connect It All can:

  • Acknowledge that through our activities, actions and emissions we have an impact on the environment.
  • Minimise the environmental impact by acting on, raising awareness of, and adherence of compliance obligations.
  • Seek to continuously improve efforts to minimise environmental impact.

We aim to do all that is reasonably practicable to:

  • Reduce the level of energy consumption and obtain utility and hardware supplies from environmentally friendly organisations, including those who use renewable energy sources where possible.
  • Recycle equipment, waste products and redundant items and reduce the consumption of consumables.
  • Use, store, control and dispose of hazardous materials in line with best environmental practices.

DEFINITIONS

This policy includes the following definitions:

  • Environmental impact – The effect that the activities of people and businesses have on the environment.

CONNECT IT ALL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

No local procedures will contradict or vary this policy.

Advice and guidance will be given to employees on the application of this policy.

TRAINING, MANAGING AND MONITORING COMPLIANCE

There is no specific training associated with this policy.

This policy will be periodically reviewed to ensure it continues to meet external requirements and business development.

Employees will be notified of any changes to this policy.

All employees will have access to this policy via Sharepoint.

All our policies must comply with relevant legislation. This includes but is not limited to:
